I can’t believe the year is halfway over already. I also can’t believe how difficult it was to select just ten standout reads from 2025!

Today I posted a TikTok recapping some (!!) of my favorite books of the year so far. Of course, as I was editing, I kept thinking of other books I would have liked to add to this list—I’ve just had such a good reading year.

Enjoy a mix of recommendations: cozy mystery, thriller, historical, noir . . . I believe there is something for every sleuth here.
